Kada je reč od treningu snage, veliki broj ljudi pomisli na klasičan bodibidling sa velikim brojem različitih vežbi za jačanje određene mišićne grupe. Iako bodibilding trening isto razvija telo, naročito kod početnika, primarni cilj ovog treninga je ipak estetika, a ne funkcionalnost.
KAKO DA RADITE VEŽBE ZA SNAGU?
Vežbe sa nedovršenim otporom su bitne za trening snage. Nedovršen otpor se pravi korišćenjem različitih rekviizita od kojih su najpopularniji slobodni tegovi i različite sprave. Savet je da se favorizuju vežbe sa tegovima, jer su puno bolje od vežbi na spravama, iz prostog razloga što se mišići bolje aktiviraju pri korišćenju ovih rekvizita.
KOJE VEŽBE?
Najbolje vežbe koje razvijaju snagu su one koje zahtevaju kompleksne pokrete i angažovanje velikog broja mišićnih grupa. Takve vežbe prouzrokuju i veći hormonalni odogovor na organizam, čime se stvara preduslov za razvoj mišićne mase. Ako je neko poznat po svojoj snazi, onda su to olimpijski dizači tegova, kod toga nema puno filozofiranja, već samo pogledajte kako se izvodi njihov trening.

Tri osnovne vežbe koje čine olimpijsko dizanje tegova, a isto tako predstavljaju disciplinu u "powerliftingu", su čučnjevi, mrtvo dizanje i bench potisak. Za sve tri vežbe je jako bitno da prvo naučite pravilnu formu, a zatim da produžite na dodavanje težine.
Nije preporučljivo da se sve tri vežbe rade na istom treningu jer su naporni za telo i mogu da uzrokuju veliki umor ako se pravilno rade, a mogu dovesti i do nekih poremećaja i povreda. Najbolje da na svakom treningu radite jednu od ovih vežbi, a u ostatku treninga da uključite pomoćne vežbe koje mogu biti bazirane za određenu mišićnu grupu, pa ćete pored snage izgraditi i zavidan izgled tela.
KOLIKO SERIJA I PONAVLJANJA JE DOVOLJNO?
Kod treninga za bodibidling obično se rade tri serije od po deset ponavljanja, ali ukoliko vam je glavni cilj trening sile, preporučuju se dve do tri serija sa pet ili manje ponavljanja. Odmor između serija je duži, u proseku između tri i pet minuta. Mrtvo dizanje u početku ne treba da se radi više od jedne serije sa nekoliko ponavljanja. Dovoljno su tri ovakva treninga u jednoj nedelji.
